The Beau Brummels were a pretty good British Invasion band from the mid-60's - that just happened to hail from San Francisco, California. (Who says you have to be from the U.K. to play a British Invasion style?) They had a Monkees/Herman's Hermits vibe - which wasn't such a bad thing back then.
If you want to hear a really good Beau Brummels song, go directly to iTunes and check out "Don't Talk To Strangers".
Anyway, today's clip is from the band's mid-60's "appearance" (as The Beau Brummelstones) on The Flintstones. It's an animated (barely) version of their hit "Laugh, Laugh" - which was kind of a morose choice for the show that gave us The Great Gazoo.
