"
We Love You, Call Collect" was a spoken-word recording by Art Linkletter and his daughter Diane Linkletter. Time Magazine
described it as a "maudlin appeal to an erring daughter".
It sat unreleased for months until Diane jumped to her death from a sixth floor window - reportedly from an LSD "trip" - in 1969. Capitol Records quickly released it,
and it later won a Grammy award.
