One of my favorite news anchors - Ron Hunter - died over the weekend.He had a brief run at KYW many years ago, where he failed to catch on as the station's main anchor. He was moved to weekends, where he was actually quite entertaining. (He would predict the Sunday Eagles games by saying "Bet the ranch and the dog on...". Well, I guess you had to be there.)
The only reason I mention this here, is it turns out Hunter was a difficult, pompous ass (at least according to every source I've read which either compares him unfavorably to Ted Baxter, or cites him as the inspiration for Ron Burgundy).
