One of Saturday Night Live's best Christmas parodies was this one - "Christmas for the Jews" - a "TV Funhouse" animation from co-writer Robert Smigel, sung by Darlene Love (with Conan's Jimmy Vivino in the backing band).
Looking back at the original episodes of SNL - it's hard to believe they would ever have had animation of this quality on a live weekly show.
