The Seekers

The Seekers were an Australian folk group that found great success during the British Invasion as a pop group. The primary reason? - lead singer Judith Durham had one of the strongest female voices of her generation.

Here, the band performs their biggest hit - Georgy Girl - live, with a backing string section. The performance is remarkably tight for a band with an upright bass. (Even the audience - especially the guy with binoculars - is a class act.) Enjoy!
